1. Business-to-business transactions
Digital Triage provides services exclusively to businesses. All contracts and purchases are therefore business-to-business transactions. Statutory consumer cooling-off periods do not apply.
Once a deposit is paid or a contract is agreed, this policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the terms in the applicable proposal, order or contract are binding. If a signed contract expressly differs from this policy, the signed contract will take priority.
2. Upfront payments and deposits
Upfront fees paid for a Standard Build or Complete Handover package are 100 per cent non-refundable. These payments reserve scheduled production time and cover the immediate design and development work required to begin building your website.
This does not limit any remedy that cannot legally be excluded or any refund Digital Triage expressly agrees to provide in writing.
3. The 12-month minimum term
All hosted packages, including Subscription Builds and Standard Builds, carry a 12-month minimum contract term.
If you cancel before the end of that minimum term:
- You must provide 30 days’ written notice by email.
- The remaining balance of the 12-month contract becomes payable, together with a £200 early-cancellation administration fee, in accordance with your contract.
- If the final balance is not paid, hosting will end and the website will be taken offline. The website may be permanently deleted 30 days after the payment default, subject to any notice or cure period stated in your contract.
- You will not retain ownership of the website files or design.
4. Cancellations after the minimum term and ownership
Once the initial 12-month term is complete and all amounts due have been paid, ownership of the website assets transfers to you. The contract then continues as a rolling agreement.
To cancel a rolling agreement, you must provide 60 days’ written notice by email. You will be billed for those final 60 days. The notice period allows Digital Triage to package transferable website files for you to take elsewhere and to manage the scheduled hosting capacity safely.
5. Complete Handover packages
For Complete Handover clients, the 100 per cent non-refundable upfront payment covers the complete build. You arrange your own hosting and Digital Triage does not maintain the website under an ongoing monthly contract unless separate support is agreed.
You assume full ownership of the website assets from the day the completed project is delivered and all amounts due have been paid.
6. How to give notice
Cancellation notices must be sent by email to Matt@digitaltriagehq.co.uk. Keep a copy of your email for your records. Notice takes effect when it is received, unless your contract states otherwise.
