What is the catch with a £99 per month website?

There is no catch, just a legally binding 12-month minimum contract. I build you a premium website for zero upfront cost, and the monthly fee covers the build, secure hosting and two hours of my time for updates. I am taking the upfront financial risk so you do not have to, which means I expect you to actually stick around. Once the 12 months are up, you own the design outright.

Are you a large agency?

No. I am one person. There are no account managers, no ping-pong tables and nobody named Tarquin trying to sell you a “brand synergy workshop”. When you hire Digital Triage, you deal directly with the person actually writing the code. The overheads are low, which is exactly why you are not paying £5,000 for a standard business website.

How quickly will my website be ready?

Accepted Answer

I build fast, but I cannot read minds. If you have your text, logos and images ready to go, we can be live in a matter of weeks. If it takes you three months to find a decent photo of your own premises, the project will stall. As outlined in the contract, if you disappear for 30 days because you have not had time to write a paragraph about what your business actually does, your 12-month billing cycle starts anyway.

What if I already have my own hosting?

Then you want the Complete Handover package. You pay a single upfront fee, I build the site, package the files and hand them over to you. You manage your own servers, security updates and technical headaches. I step away entirely, with no ongoing monthly fees.

Question 5

What exactly counts as a free monthly edit?

Accepted Answer

If you are on a hosted package, your included time covers standard updates: swapping a team photo, changing a paragraph or adding a new service page. It means keeping your site relevant. It does not mean waking up on a Tuesday and deciding you want me to turn your brochure site into the next Amazon. Major structural changes fall outside the included allowance and are billed at £65 per hour.

Can you fix or finish a website my previous developer abandoned?

Accepted Answer

Generally, no. I would rather build you a flawless new house from scratch than spend three days untangling the spaghetti code left behind by a freelancer who stopped answering your emails. I build things properly on infrastructure I can support, so I can personally stand behind their speed and security. Inheriting somebody else’s mess is rarely worth the time for either of us.
