Fast, secure, responsive
Mobile-first, properly secure and quick enough that nobody has time to wonder whether the Wi-Fi has packed in.
CPR for websites that have lost the will to live.
I build websites for businesses done with the same old boring templates. And yes, that includes companies whose managing director still prints out emails and treats fax machines like cutting edge technology.
The short version
Digital Triage is my senior-led website design studio for businesses with something to say and no interest in saying it like everyone else.
Not “disruptive”.Not “world-class”.Just clear thinking. With good taste. And a healthy disrespect for the boring.
Two live websites designed and built by Digital Triage. Real examples are more useful than imaginary case studies.
I designed and built the site you are using now: the visual identity, page structure, responsive layouts, writing, interactions and the less glamorous technical details that hold it all together. Click around. Resize it. Try to catch it out.
Ask about a site like thisI designed and built this medical-supply ecommerce store for both trade customers and the public. It combines a large product catalogue, transparent retail pricing, supplier content and dedicated trade-account access in one responsive storefront.
Visit gm-med.co.ukI stay small on purpose. It keeps the thinking close to the making and the meetings mercifully short.
The right page structure, hierarchy, and content flow for a site people can actually use.
Distinctive layouts, typography, colour, and components that make the site feel like you.
A website that holds together on every screen, not just the laptop it was designed on.
Thoughtful files and guidance so development does not turn the work into soup.
A good website should make sense to people, browsers and search engines without requiring a séance.
Mobile-first, properly secure and quick enough that nobody has time to wonder whether the Wi-Fi has packed in.
Clean page hierarchies, descriptive URLs and navigation that gets people where they meant to go without a sat-nav.
Original, people-first information, with images, video and semantic tags doing their jobs rather than merely taking up space.
Semantic HTML and friction-free layouts that work for every visitor, every screen and assistive technology too. As they should.
No borrowed praise
“I could invent a glowing testimonial and hope nobody checks. Instead, use this website as the reference: I designed it, built it and made sure it works properly on the screen in front of you.”
The person behind Digital TriageAbout Digital Triage
Solo studio. Big opinions about typography. Surprisingly normal lunch orders.
First and foremost, I am a business owner who cut his teeth in the first aid and medical industry. I got completely tired of watching smart companies hide behind painfully generic websites.
So, I built a place where the work is direct, the decisions are quick, and even the bizarre idea from Karen in accounts gets a fair hearing.
The fact that I founded this design business from the corner of a tragically identical Costa doesn't mean you shouldn't trust me with your brand.
